You can query powernet servers with this interactive terminal, to discover properties your server may have, and help you develop applications.
To get started, run the following terminal commands on linux, mac, or WSL2 on windows:
$ wget
powernet.org/warez/server.zip$ unzip
server.zip -d powernet && cd powernet
$ python3 ./server.py
Your browser will find localhost:42000 and query the DNS for powernet servers.
In some cases, you may not want to use ethernet and instead want to connect to servers with USB. This can be done with the TTY to TCP network address translator.
$ sudo python3 ./server.py --tty_nat
On POSIX systems, root privilege is necessary, unless you add custom udev rules, or add your user to the dialout group.
Connect to other domain-name servers by changing the DNS address location in your terminal tab.
